In Europe, I received advanced training in spinal surgery by attaining the prestigious fellowship in Paris and Germany. In UK, from 1998 onwards, I undertook further extensive training and fellowships in Spinal Surgery under various eminent surgeons in Edinburgh, Belfast, Stanmore, London and Nottingham. My broad training and experiences enables me to give my patients an outstanding treatment. I have a methodical and comprehensive approach to patients' diagnosis and management. I successfully treat most of my patients using simple non-operative measures. I undertake surgery only failing the appropriate conservative treatment. I choose simple surgical techniques that are tailored to the individual patient's needs, to achieve the best long-term functional outcome. I prefer minimally invasive surgery where appropriate. I lecture in various international, national and regional meetings on management of spinal conditions. As a Clinical lecture (UCL) and Honorary Lecture (Tees), I have good experience of conducting various courses and teaching programmes.
